- Our association under the 1901 law was created in the wake of the market’s 500th anniversary celebrations in 1988.
- Our aims are to promote the commune of St Christophe en Brionnais, its livestock market, and more widely the Brionnais thanks to the Tourist Office.
- The association has 40 active members. The Board of Directors is made up of 21 members, 7 of whom form the Executive Committee. The association also employs one salaried member.
Major annual events:
- The hike “la Christophienne” on the 3rd Sunday of October.
- Charolais beef cattle competition on the last Saturday of September.
- Flea market and pot-au-feu festival on the 2nd Sunday of August (organised by the Comité des fêtes).
